A simple REST API to get the leads your AI assistant captures into Zapier, a CRM or your own systems. Two endpoints, one API key, JSON responses.
Authentication.
Every request needs your API key in the X-API-Key header. Find your key on your assistant's settings page (the link in your weekly email), under "Your API key". Keep it private, like a password. Requests without a valid key return HTTP 401.

Check your key.
Returns the assistant your key belongs to. Zapier uses this to test a connection.

List recent leads.
Returns your 50 most recent leads, newest first. Each lead has a unique, stable id, so tools that check for new items (like Zapier) never see the same lead twice.

Instant webhooks.
Prefer instant delivery? Paste any webhook address on your settings page and we send a JSON POST the moment a new lead arrives, with the event name "lead", the site, and the same lead fields as above.
Errors.
401: missing or invalid API key. 400: unknown endpoint. Questions or problems: email hello@aicofounderhq.com.

Where do I find my API key?
On your assistant's settings page, under "Your API key". The link to that page is in your weekly summary email.
Is there a rate limit?
Please poll no more than once a minute. For instant delivery, use a webhook instead.
